General Consulting Services provided by DCAG

Some of the general management consulting services that have been provided by DCAG have included "Five Year Business Plans" for the Automated Services Division of a major bank; the "Merger of two Proxy Processing Services Firms";   "Data Center Conversions and Consolidations"; "Service Level Agreements" and "Charge Back Systems" and the provision of "NY Area Marketing Services" for various firms under an Agent's Agreement.

Leading Edge Consulting Assignments performed by DCAG

Some of the project performed by DCAG consultant have been considered "Leading Edge Technology" when they were performed.  These assignments are listed through this link.  Included in these projects are: "Communications Management Controller (CMC)" for load balancing and recovery; an "Alternate Site Supplier Study" to eliminate Single Point of Failure and provide an alternate communications supplier to building tenants; the implementation of an "Automated Job Documentation and Turnover System"; and a "Personnel Productivity System" designed to provide personnel recruitment, training, and workflow management services.

Personnel Recruitment and Placement

We will accept work requests for permanent, temporary, or consulting personnel.  Utilizing our Automated Personnel System (APS), we will record your job description, perform personnel searches until appropriate candidates are located (currently we have key-word search access directly to approximately 30,000 candidates in our data base), screen candidates, submit qualified applicants, coordinate placement activities, and close placements located through us.  

Forms Management and Control

To eliminate the single greatest loss of productivity, DCAG recommends the implementation of a Forms Management and Control System (we call it the Workflow Management System - WMS).  This system is designed to help personnel select and complete required forms associated with work requests and resource identification, to then route forms to personnel and track forms from inception to completion.  A reporting mechanism can be utilized to provide management and technical analysis reports that can be used to evaluate performance and improve productivity.

Business Resumption Planning (BRP)

DCAG has developed Business Recovery Plans for corporations from data center and infrastructure recovery through office recovery.  We have created plans, training seminars, and Contingency Command Center procedures.  From our services, clients have been able to isolate disasters and initiate appropriate teams with the contingency plans needed to restore functionality in the shortest period of time possible.  We also provide Data Sensitivity and Vitals Records Management services, so that physical and data security requirements can be met in an efficient manner.  Our consultants have implemented and maintained automated recovery planning and security tools that have kept companies secure in an on-going manner.  Through these services, your firm will maintain adherence to Audit and Regulatory Requirements needed to support business functions and protect critical services and resources.  Our approach to Business Resumption Planning is to identify problems that can become disasters through normal Help Desk problem escalation and Crisis Management procedures.  Through this process, Business Recovery Teams will be alerted as problems escalate through level 1, 2 and 3 (Help Desk, Internal Support, External Support) to where a disaster is declared and recovery procedures initiated.

Systems Management disciplines are concerned with controlling the data processing environment and for optimizing how work flows through the data processing environment.  DCAG has extensive experience in providing Systems Management Services and has supplied clients with service optimization and controls along with documentation and training services.

DCAG has been involved with the creation and implementation of many of the Systems Management Disciplines used to manage a data processing organization.  We have developed Standards and Procedures for clients, from the creation of a Standards and Procedures Manual to the implementation of the Systems Management Services contained within it, like: Capacity and Performance Management, Asset and Inventory Management, Problem and Change Management, and Service Level Agreements.  We have created Network Communications Centers, Operation Communications Centers, Help Desks, and Contingency Command Centers.  Our staff has an extensive background in technical and managerial aspects of building, relocating, and running the operations of data centers.

DCAG has performed many consulting services including: five year business plans for automated services divisions, merged multiple firms together into a new facility, provided alternate communication service providers to buildings and their tenants, and provided a full range of data center services (relocations, reductions, creations, etc.).  We are also qualified to serve in a number of management roles associated with running a data processing operations which are illustrated in the presentation provided through the link below.
