Computer Equipment Redeployment and Termination Services - Introductory Letter

Thank you very much for the opportunity to introduce Computer Disposal Solutions, Inc. (CDS) to you today.

My name is Tom Bronack and I am the executive vice president for new business development at CDS.  I would like to discuss one of the most important issues facing corporate management today, which is the implementation of appropriate procedures for the relocation and disposal of computer equipment.  Procedures that would adhere to EDP Security and Regulatory Requirements, optimize personnel performance, minimize unprofitable floor space usage, and result in generating revenue from the sale of surplus computer equipment.

After much research and relationship building, CDS has developed a methodology that will relieve corporations of many of their present burdens, while supplying them with an additional revenue source through the sale, donation, or scrapping of equipment.  This methodology utilizes standards and procedures to guide the movement or removal of equipment in adherence to regulatory, legal, and environmental requirements.  The goal of this service is to relieve clients from legal burdens associated with surplus equipment and give them “Peace of Mind”.

As computer equipment grows older, its value and operability is greatly reduced, causing corporations to re-deploy or replace outdated equipment on a more regular basis.  This surplus equipment is usually sent to in-house depots or off-site warehouses, resulting in inconvenience and additional costs.  Also, many companies don’t remember the most important operation of removing sensitive or private data from these systems, increasing the company’s exposure and adding to costs.  Did you know that failure to wipe sensitive data from Hard Disk Drives could even result in criminal and/or civil penalties, such as those defined in current legislations (e.g., HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, etc.), any of which would expose your company to potential criminal and civil litigation.  It is expensive and inefficient to utilize your internal staff to perform Equipment Redeployment and Termination Services, because it leaves them less time to perform their normal functional responsibilities - like implementing and utilizing the benefits of your new equipment.

CDS helps corporations implement Standards and Procedures governing their Equipment Redeployment and Termination needs that meets regulatory requirements and optimizes personnel productivity.  Our consulting services and product offerings can also provide access to equipment buyers, transportation services, and warehouse facilities.  We recognize that the pace of today's business environment requires long-term partnerships that are responsive, flexible, and committed to quality service, and CDS is prepared to meet these demands.

Computer Disposal Solutions, Inc. would like you to consider us to supplement or replace your internal surplus equipment operations.  We know this operation inside and out and have solid relationships with surplus equipment buyers, warehouse organizations, and transportation companies that make it easier for you to re-deploy or sell your surplus equipment, which means we can help minimize your exposure to losses and maximize your return on the sale or disposal of your old equipment.  Combined with our solid industry experience and understanding of this sensitive area, we believe we are ideally suited to help you address the legal and business requirements that must be met.

I would like the opportunity to discuss your current operations and needs with you, and then schedule a presentation that addresses how CDS can help.  Should you want to further discuss this topic, or simply review how it can help your organization, please feel free to contact us via phone at (212) 293-0700, via cell phone at (917) 755-0644, or via email at bronack@cisny.com.  I look forward to working together.

Sincerely,

Tom Bronack
